Measuring in feet and strides

We worked in partners to measure distances between cones and lengths of skipping ropes. We worked together to measure the width of the playground in 'feet' but found we all got different results. We decided that we need to use a tape measure or metre stick to measure in CM or M to get the same result. Finally Katie put the skipping ropes in order of longest to shortest.
