Tigers - Mrs N Osborne/Mrs J Lynes
Hello, my name is Nicola Osborne and I am a Foundation Stage teachers and acting Assistant head at Greenhill Primary School. I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies and furthered my education at Birmingham University with a PGCE in Primary Education. I have been a teacher at Greenhill Primary School for 7 years and worked across Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and working with children with additional needs as this links with the child psychology unit of my degree. I love working with the younger children, seeing them develop so quickly and grow in confidence. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my daughter and socialising with my friends and family.
Bears - Miss L Tonks
My name is Lyn Tonks and I am currently a Foundation Stage teacher and Art Co-ordinator at Greenhill. Many moons ago I gained a Bachelor of Education(Hons ) degree, majoring in Physical Education and History. Before moving to Greenhill I taught in London for ten years and also spent time living in America. Over the years I have taught all of the primary age range from Reception, through to Year 6 and am lucky enough to still enjoy the job as much now as when I first started (apart from the odd day when I’d rather be a florist!!!)
Lions - Miss C James/Miss E Crabtree
Hi, I'm Miss. James. I am originally from Rotherham but currently living in Sheffield and began teaching at Greenhill in June 2016. I have taught in various schools around the South Yorkshire region as well as bilingual and international schools in both Italy and Spain. I am also a trained Forest School Leader as I love being in the great outdoors! In my free time I enjoy exploring the open countryside, building dens and making things out of clay. Keeping fit and active makes me happy so I play netball and do lots of yoga. I really enjoy cooking food from around the world and reading. My favourite books when I was a child were 'The BFG' by Roald Dahl and 'The Suitcase Kid' by Jacqueline Wilson.
My name is Emma Crabtree and I am deputy head at Greenhill Primary School. I first began teaching in 1999 and have taught in every year group from Foundation Stage to Year 6. I have been working at Greenhill since 2007 and enjoy being part of such a hardworking and caring team. I believe that all children should be encouraged to be the best that they can be and should be provided with an exciting, engaging and diverse range of activities during their school life. I now work 4 days a week and spend the rest of my time with my adorable son, James, who was born in 2014.
