Student and Family Support Team (SAFS)
Access and Inclusion Manager
Mrs A Broomhead
Hi my name is Alexa Broomhead and I am the Access and Inclusion Manager heading our Student and Family support team (SAFS). I have worked at Greenhill for many years in a variety of roles both inside the classroom and out. I love being able to support our children and families and hopefully help our more vulnerable pupils to achieve their full potential.
My qualifications include Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Autism support, Dyslexia support, Safeguarding lead, Specialist Leader in Behaviour and Attendance, Learning Mentor, Line Management and more.
I have two lovely children, both of whom are now independent adults so my time is now given over to my two gorgeous black Labradors, Bailey and Roxy who keep me busy. My husband and I own a touring caravan and we enjoy exploring new places, we love the flexibility of being able to have weekends away when we fancy it and of course Bailey and Roxy come too!
Greenhill is a great place to work, the staff and children are lovely and I feel very privileged to enjoy coming to work to do a job that I love.
Miss S Andrews
My name is Sharon Andrews. I am Senior Learning Mentor at Greenhill School. I am also coordinator of Lunchtimes and run/organise a very hardworking and passionate team of 13 Lunchtime Supervisors and Play leaders. I have two sons now 18 and 20 years old who both attended Greenhill and enjoyed their time here. My youngest son Matthew was born with Cerebral Palsy and needed extra support with his schooling and Greenhill provided that with lots of care and guidance. In my spare time I enjoy playing Crown Green Bowling and am a member of Bradway Bowling Club ladies bowling team.

Mr O Rashid
Hello my name is Omar Rashid. I’ve worked at Greenhill primary school for close to 10 years now. Before this I studied anthropology at university overseas, worked in the telecoms industry as well as complimentary healthcare for a few years. I also spent time doing volunteer work with the homeless at the archer project as well as youth at risk with SOVA and RAINER. After deciding I wanted to make a bigger difference in the world I opted to transition into education which lead me to Greenhill primary school where I started as a lunchtime play leader before moving into a mentoring role. In my spare time I love to read and am actively involved with several charities in the Sheffield area.
