3/4P Mrs S Perryman
Hello, my name is Susan Perryman and I am a teacher in Y3/ Y4 and Phase Leader for that year group. I have a degree in Applied Social Studies and an MA in Education. I have been at Greenhill since February 2000 and was at Holt House Infants prior to then. I have taught in all year groups but have taught mainly in KS2 for the past eleven years. I thoroughly enjoy my job and take great pleasure in seeing a child's achievements. I love teaching English and maths and enjoy challenging children in these subjects.
At home I love spending time with my daughter and my husband. We enjoy going for walks together, trying new foods and visiting family.
3C Miss J Chaplin
My name is Jade Chaplin and I am very excited to join the wonderful team at Greenhill! My degree is in Primary Education with QTS from Durham University. In the classroom, I love teaching all subjects, but particularly enjoy Maths and Art. As well as dancing, running and reading, I spend my spare time doing anything creative, including drawing, painting, and scrapbooking.
3PC Mrs C Chapman/ Mr D Priest
Hello, my name is Clair Chapman and am now a Year 3 teacher at Greenhill, having taught in Reception for the last few years. I graduated in 2008 from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Primary Education. I have been fortunate enough to have gained teaching experience in KS1 & 2 and also in the Foundation stage. I have even taught in France! I love to see children happy to come to school showing enthusiasm for learning new things. As a child I had some amazing teachers whom certainly ,along with my parents, helped to mould me into the person I am today. They are all my role models! I feel very fortunate to be a member of Greenhill school and am proud of the wide and varied community we have here! I love to travel. For my honeymoon I went to The Gambia and got to stroke a crocodile. I also had my sun cream stolen by a monkey. My current favourite country to visit is Italy, particularly Sorrento. At home, the majority of my time is taken up by my boys, Dan whom I married in 2011, my son, Theo (3) and my baby, Thomas (1). If I do happen to have any free time my favourite things to do are to sleep, socialise with my friends or to read a good book in the bath. I also enjoy arts and crafts and regularly knit, crochet, sew or paint. I am crazy about animals and have had many pets over the years (including rats) and currently have a very naughty cat called Mollie. There are lots of exciting things I'd like to do. I really want to go to La Tomatina (the Spanish Tomato festival) but probably most surprising is that I would love to cage dive with Great White Sharks some day!
My name is Daniel Priest and I currently teach in Y5. I completed my PGCE in 2012 at Nottingham Trent University and have taught in KS2 since then, mainly in Y3 and Y4. My favourite part of teaching is seeing children take pride in their achievements when overcoming a challenge. I love spending my spare time with my family; when I'm not in school, I'm usually at the park with my boys, or taking them to football training, swimming sessions...or to Hillsborough to see Sheffield Wednesday!
