School Meals at Greenhill

School Meals
Our school meals are prepared fresh daily on site, by our fantastic in-house Catering Team.
 

All children in EYFS and KS1 (Reception, Y1 and Y2) are all entitled to free school meals through the Universal Infant Free School Meal agenda.

For children in KS2 (Y3 through to Y6) a school lunch costs £2.00 per day, unless your child is entitled to Free School Meals. All meals are paid for on ParentPay.

 

School meals are served on a 3 week menu cycle. 

 

Autumn Menu 2023-2024

 

Currently all children attending school are eating the Dining hall with their designated learning groups. All food in the dining room is served on a tray, children can choose between seasonal vegetables or salad, as well as fruit and a cake/biscuit for dessert.

Fresh drinking water is always available for all children.

 

 Our menus comply with School Food Standards.

School Milk

Milk can now be ordered for September. 
The cost for School milk is £16.06 from 5th September - 22nd December 2023. 
The deadline for orders is Thursday 14th July. 
Please order and pay via ParentPay. If you would like to order milk after the deadline, please contact the school office. 
 
If your child is under 5 or is entitled to free school meals and you would like them to have a carton of milk daily, please contact the School Office. 

School Fruit

All children in EYFS to Year 2 are entitled to free school fruit for a daily snack during morning break time. School staff organise the fruit offer for the children each day.

Children in Year 3 to 6 are allowed to bring a healthy snack (fruit or vegetables) to school to eat during their morning break.

Packed lunch

If your child brings a packed lunch please remember this lunch should be healthy and appropriate in size for their age. Please do not pack chocolates and sweets for you child.

WE ARE A NUT FREE SITE, please do not pack any items that may contain nuts.
