Welcome to our school website.
I strongly believe in providing our children with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences, which build their enthusiasm for learning. Over the course of this academic year and beyond we will look to develop the curriculum we offer to meet these goals. I fully appreciate how important each year of a child’s school life is towards preparing them for the wider world and believe that we have a responsibility to develop learner behaviours year on year to ensure our children have the skills needed to be successful. Our Greenhill learner behaviours are key to this, developing skills such as determination and aspiration year on year.
At Greenhill Primary we think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their education and we are keen on building a whole school learning community, which thrives on mutual respect, high expectations and values positive relationships. We know how important partnerships with parents are to enable children to feel supported and to make real positive strides in their learning. Every child has the ability to do amazing things if a school provides the right opportunities, the right environment and builds strong relationships.
I recognise that work needs to be done to improve the outcomes for all our children but I believe Greenhill Primary is a school of huge potential and I am determined to secure an outstanding future for our children. I hope you will support our high expectations in all that we do.
